Becoming a Big Brother or Sister Class at Happy Up Edwardsville

We're thrilled to host a Get-Ready for Baby class presented by Metamorphose Maternity!  When Momma is expecting a baby, everyone in the family is expecting, too. 

The class is about two hours long for children ages 2 - 10 years old.  The goal of the class is to help prepare kiddos for the brand new baby.  The class will give the soon-to-be Big Sibs skills to help out and to answer important questions like:

What is baby trying to say by crying?
Can babies play?
Is diaper changing REALLY that bad/stinky/scary/gross?
How do I hold the baby?
How can I help out?  I’m just a kid/I'm too little...

Led by Shannon Lawton-O'Boyle, the class takes place at our Edwardsville Happy Up location.  The kiddos will get to ask questions, learn skills, have a snack, and get a special gift to take home!
